ABU DHABI—Zuma at The Galleria Mall, Abu Dhabi is such a great place for top quality food in the city. From the moment you walk up to the fancy entrance (located between the Rosewood Hotel and the Galleria), you realize this is a very unique space. The open concept kitchen and oversized bar add to one of the best spots in the city. It is such a popular place among my friends.

I didn’t make reservation, but we were seated easily at a circular 8 top. Given how crowded the restaurant was on a Sunday night, I would say that reservations are essential. The service was pleasant but we have many waiters serving one table. No idea how that works.

Zuma’s food is to die for. This was my second visit to Zuma and I can’t say that I’ve had a bad dish. In their tasting menu, you can sample everything, but for our group the highlights had to be the baby chicken, black cod and Kobe beef. If you’re going back for anything, it’s the food. The spicy wagyu ribs is something out of this world! Not for sharing I highly recommend you try it! The selection of sushi and maki is great there’s something for everyone at zuma! They do have the glutten-free option.

The taste would have been totally worth the rates had they increased the quantity and not serve samplers for that kind of bell!

mothers are special

What makes mother so special
By Hamda Al Hameli

Lead in: It’s unfair that mothers only get one day of the year where we really celebrate all the great things that they’ve done for us.

Mothers hold a special place in our heart. When everyone else turns their back on you, your mother is always there.

In the beginning of their children’s life, and even sometimes for the entirety of their life, mothers put their own personal desires and needs on hold for their children. Their children’s needs come first. Mothers are special because they always welcome with an open heart and open arms.
Mother’s love to her children is unconditional. There is no one else who would do anything to keep you safe and out of harms way. Mothers are special because they always welcome with an open heart and open arm.

My mom is special she truly exemplifies a sacrificial spirit. I am who I am because of her, and there are no words that can express how thankful I am to have her in my life.

Lets take a moment and go to tell our mother how glad we are that she is our mother.

My Happiness

Family makes me happy
By Hamda Al Hameli

Lead in: Everyone in this world has something that makes them happy.

ABU DHABI—My name is Hamda Al Hameli, I am going to state why family makes me happy. My family filled my life with happiness and joy.

I love being surrounded by mom, dad and my brother. I have two brothers and I am the eldest. Although, my brothers like to annoy me but they’re caring and helping me if I have problem.

My family is the source of my happiness because we are close. My favorite time is when we gather the five of us on the dinner table and we talk about what happen on our day and how was it.

My family is very important to me and I don’t know what I would do without my parent or my brothers. When my brothers went to the military I felt so lonely, because I used to spend my whole time with them. Well, this is what makes me happy, my family. What makes you happy than your family?
